There are lots of forgotten Fiats. Obviously I can't remember them all because forgotten....

Somehow Fiats are treated as disposable vehicles more than other makes. You really don't see these anymore. Even the Stilo, which ran from 2001-2007 so isn't all that old, is a vehicle I rarely see anymore. Have they all been exported or were they really quite shitty?

lol I used to rent Stilos over there when I worked in the rentla industry around that time. However, I dont think the disposable aspect of Fiats was lost on the Americans. Seems like they thought that when Fiat was imported before. Half of them had fallen off before they got crushed so I can see why

I don't think they were actually that bad - there's just no reason to keep them any longer you have to. Most Japanese cars from the same era are equally forgotten, like this one:

Carina II? The later Carina E and even the first gen Avensis have all but disappeared here. All shipped off to the east or Africa I suppose.

Carina II. Taxi drivers used to love them. They went on to love the Carina E and the Avensis just as much.
